Dawn Packer is an Australian artist who lives on a small acreage on the outskirts of Sydney.
Even though she always loved to draw and be creative, most of her adult life was spent working in law firms.
Following a personal life changing event in 2010, she realised life is too short to not be doing what you enjoy so she left that industry to follow her heart.
In 2015 she began to regularly paint in oils.
Her oil painting ‘Miss Laura’ was a semi-finalist in the Moran Portraiture Prize in 2016 and 'Little Boy Blue' was a semi-finalist in 2017.
'My inspiration is drawn from the unique people, beautiful landscapes and the many gorgeous animals in my life"
